This mural reflects the characteristic ‘magic realism’ of her work and has been entitled
The title and archetypal symbol of Angel wings not only represent the duty we have to protect our environment, but through the interactive function of the mural it also acknowledges the guarding and nurturing role nature reciprocates in our lives. The mural is a celebration of the Eastern Cape, overflowing with succulents and plants that represent our unique and resilient province.
This exquisitely hand-painted mural can be found on the upper level, opposite Cape Union Mart.
